For anyone who will be on the morel safari, you will need to develop your morel detection skills (aka shroomdar.) First you should know what morels look like:
Right now its early in the season so mostly the spike and the greys are out, but I did find a black morel as well.
2 Mushrooms in the next photo.

No morel in this photo, just documenting leaf growth
No morels here either, just looking at the ground.
Here's a little surprise, I wasn't expecting to see this grey morel, they usually come in a little later in the season.
Can you find the grey morel in this picture??
Here's an exciting clump of morels, I almost dropped the phone when I saw these:-)
Here they are close up.
No morels, here. Can you find the toad?
Here he is close up.
There's one morel in this photo, good luck.

| The morel is midway up to the left of the little tree. |
There are two cute morels in this photo. This photo was taken from the top so they are a little more difficult to find. These morels snuck up on me, I almost stepped on them.
Trillums are blooming, no morels in this photo just beauty.
A Village of May Apples
Back to Shroomdar development, find the morel that is peeking out.
A little spring art.:-)
I'm thinking crepes for breakfast.
